California is the ultimate family playground. It's a place that thrills kids and brings out the kids in the adults too. So, for Visit California's family campaign we came up with the idea to change the state's name from California to Kidifornia—a place where kids rule vacation. Executions centered around the idea of kids becoming the adults—providing important advice and travel tips to fellow kids when traveling to California with their parents.

For Visit California's initial foray into a family-specific campaign we leaned into an insight concerning parent's desire to get kids off of their devices and outside exploring, playing and experiencing new and real things together. California is a pretty good place to make that happen. As a Xennial parent the desire rings true. My childhood was world's apart from those of my kids today.
